General Terms and Conditions

1. Conclusion of Contract and Payment

Booking requests can be made via online form or email. Afterwards the participant will receive the bank account of Ursa Minor Adventures AS and is asked to transfer an advance payment in an amount of EUR 250.- per person. The place will be reserved one week without any obligation. A binding contract about the booked journey comes into effect as soon as the advance payment is received on the Ursa Minor Adventures AS bank account. Additionally, the participant will get a booking confirmation.
The final payment will be due 28 days before arrival. An exception applies for bookings less than 32 days before arrival. In this case the total amount is payable immediately.

2. Program

The program of the booked journey is defined in the program description on the webpage www.huskylodge.no.

3. Participation Requirements

To ensure the safety of the guests there are minimum requirements to be met regarding age and physical fitness of the participants. Participants of multi-day dog sledding tours should be between 16 and 65 years old. The necessary physical condition is comparable to that which is required for cycling in the mountains.
If it can be seen during the tour that a participant doesn’t meet the requirements the tour can be changed – if possible – or cancelled due to safety reasons. In this case there is no claim to a refund of (a part of) the tour price or an alternative program.

4. Cancellation and Changes

Ursa Minor Adventures AS must be informed about cancellations and changes in written or text form.
For cancellations or absence of the final payment the following cancellation fees apply:

  • from booking 250€
  • from 120th day before the beginning of the tour 30% of tour price
  • from 89th day the beginning of the tour 60% of tour price
  • from 45 days prior to the beginning of the tour 100% of the tour price

The contractual partner can prove that Ursa Minor Adventures AS has suffered no or little loss.
We recommend to take out a travel/accident and a cancellation insurance.
