Booking requests can be made via online form or email. Afterwards the participant will receive the bank account of Bardu Huskylodge and is asked to transfer an advance payment in an amount of EUR 250.- per person. The place will be reserved one week without any obligation. A binding contract about the booked journey comes into effect as soon as the advance payment is received on the Huskylodge bank account. Additionally, the participant will get a booking confirmation.
The final payment will be due 28 days before arrival. An exception applies for bookings less than 32 days before arrival. In this case the total amount is payable immediately.
The program of the booked journey is defined in the program description on the webpage www.huskylodge.no.
To ensure the safety of the guests there are minimum requirements to be met regarding age and physical fitness of the participants. Participants of multi-day dog sledding tours should be between 16 and 65 years old. The necessary physical condition is comparable to that which is required for cycling in the mountains.
If it can be seen during the tour that a participant doesn’t meet the requirements the tour can be changed – if possible – or cancelled due to safety reasons. In this case there is no claim to a refund of (a part of) the tour price or an alternative program.
Bardu Huskylodge must be informed about cancellations and changes in written or text form.
For cancellations or absence of the final payment the following cancellation fees apply:
The contractual partner can prove that Bardu Huskylodge has suffered no or little loss.
We recommend to take out a travel/accident and a cancellation insurance.
Bardu Huskylodge is not liable if the non-fulfillment or insufficient fulfillment of the contract is based on the following reasons:
a) failures of the guest before or during the journey
b) force majeure or an incident Bardu Huskylodge could not foresee or prevent with all due care
c) bad weather conditions
d) bad snow- or ice conditions
